Websites are built with many different technologies and approaches. We’re constantly improving how Webvizio renders pages, but in some cases certain elements, or even whole pages, may still display incorrectly. This article explains how to fix display problems, pages that don’t load, and projects that can’t be created.
Note: If you can, please also tell our team about the display issue through the Webvizio support chat. It helps us improve how Webvizio handles sites like yours.
Parts of the page or the whole page display incorrectly
Webvizio offers several universal solutions for display issues. Any one of them should fix the problem. If one doesn’t work for your site, try another.
Option 1: Install the Webvizio script
- Open your project’s settings.
- Turn on Enable script on this website.
- Copy the Webvizio script and paste it at the end of the
<head>tag, right before</head>.
If you see the “Script Not Detected” or “Webvizio was blocked by the website” error after installing the script, see the articles “Fixing the ‘Script Not Detected’ Error” and “Fixing the ‘Webvizio Was Blocked by the Website’ Error.”
Option 2: Use the Webvizio Chrome Extension
The Webvizio Chrome Extension isn’t only for creating tasks directly on your website. It also works as an add-on that improves how your site displays inside the Webvizio app. See Extension as an Add-on to the Webvizio Application for instructions.
You can also use the extension to create tasks directly on your live website, without opening the Webvizio app. Learn more in Task Creation and Management.
Note: If you use the extension, everyone working on the project will also need to install it.
Option 3: Install the Webvizio WordPress plugin
If your site runs on WordPress, you can install the Webvizio WordPress plugin to fix display issues. See WordPress Plugin for step-by-step instructions.
The page doesn’t load
If you see a “blocked” message instead of your page, or you’re asked to log in, your website is most likely protected by a firewall. This can be a server-level solution or a third-party service like Cloudflare, and it can block Webvizio.
To fix this, add Webvizio’s IP address 159.65.255.184 to your firewall’s allowlist. This lets Webvizio reach your site while keeping it protected.
You can also try any of the options above: the script, the Chrome Extension, or the WordPress plugin. In most cases, one of them gets around the block. If one doesn’t work, try another.
A project can’t be created
You may see the error “Oops! Your request can not be processed,” or the project may get stuck while it’s being created and then disappear from your dashboard.
To fix this, follow these steps:
- Check that you entered the website URL correctly.
- Open the URL in an incognito window to make sure the site is publicly accessible.
- If the URL is correct and the site loads, your website is most likely protected by a firewall. Add Webvizio’s IP address 159.65.255.184 to your firewall’s allowlist.
